Competition between different groundwater uses under water scarcity

We study groundwater management under a regime shock affecting water availability, using dynamic common-property resource game. The different players correspond to uses (irrigation or urban supply), enabling us consider competition between economic sectors for the stock with limited availability. have demand functions and, certain circumstances depending on shock, discount rates. effects of asymmetries in both and rates are analyzed, comparing cooperative non-cooperative solutions.
